Contracts Specialist

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; hybrid or remote

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Execute NDAs and Teaming Agreements and support Growth and Capture teams during presales activities.
• Review solicitations, identify contractual risks and security requirements, and support proposal development.
• Coordinate with Pricing to reflect contract terms, subcontract flow-downs, and risk allocation in complex bids.
• Negotiate, execute, administer, modify, and close out prime contracts, task orders, and subcontracts.
• Maintain audit-ready contract files, monitor milestones and reporting requirements, and manage contract data in the Unanet Contract Management module.
• Help establish scalable contracts processes, documentation, and standards with outside vendors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of federal contracts administration experience.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS-governed vehicles, including IDIQs and BPAs, and non-FAR instruments such as OTAs.
• Strong knowledge of contract types including FFP, T&M, and cost-reimbursable agreements, with an understanding of their effect on risk and margin.
• Experience with SAM.gov, FedConnect, ESRS, and WAWF.
• Experience supporting capture, proposal, and pricing teams and interpreting RFP contracting implications.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills; DCAA audit experience or exposure is beneficial.

Nice to have

• CPCM, CFCM, CGCO, CPA, CGAP, PMP, CPSM, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• DCAA audit experience or exposure.
• Interest in progressing toward senior contracts leadership responsibilities.
