Agent Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA; Atlanta, GA; or New York, NY

Compensation: $180,000 – $390,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design and deliver production-grade AI agents that drive revenue and mission-critical business outcomes.
• Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
• Partner directly with enterprise leaders to understand business challenges and build scalable AI solutions.
• Collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve core platform capabilities.
• Build innovative multimodal experiences, including voice and embedded UI integrations.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish required.
• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.
• Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco, Atlanta, or New York.

Nice to have

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
• Previous experience as a founder or founding engineer.
