AWS Solutions Architect

Location: 100% remote within the Continental United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade AWS environments across compute, networking, storage, identity, and managed data services.
• Build production infrastructure-as-code, multi-account AWS organizations, secure VPC topologies, IAM strategies, and centralized governance.
• Design and operate EKS, ECS, and Fargate environments with autoscaling, networking, service-mesh, and observability integrations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, SLOs, disaster recovery, business continuity, and automated failover capabilities.
• Drive cloud security, cost optimization, incident response automation, and operational improvements for mission-critical workloads.
• Advise application teams, lead architecture reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 3 years working with AWS in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services, Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation, and EKS or ECS.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and implementing cloud-native observability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills; familiarity with Go or PowerShell is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no new H1B sponsorship is available. Valid H1B transfers are welcomed.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
• Experience with AWS Organizations, centralized governance, service mesh, eBPF observability, zero-trust networking, and FinOps.
• Experience operating regulated workloads under HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP.
