Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Part Time Nights

Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, document findings, identify nursing diagnoses, and update care plans.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams, including discharge planning and referrals.
• Provide medication education, patient and family teaching, and culturally responsive care.
• Administer medications safely, monitor patient conditions, complete handoffs, and maintain a safe care environment.
• Support quality initiatives focused on preventing pressure ulcers, falls, CAUTI, and central-line infections.
• Lead or support patient care technicians, precept new staff, and coordinate unit care when assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or an Associate Degree in Nursing with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to comply with Illinois nursing regulations, organizational policies, and applicable clinical standards.
