Systems Architect (Cloud Security)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; onsite role supporting a project in Chantilly, VA

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Architect, design, implement, and integrate mission internet systems for operational data collection and exploitation.
• Assess and exploit structured and unstructured datasets, including profile, content, metadata, mobile application, and public-domain data.
• Develop data ingestion tools, databases, and software applications for extracting, transforming, loading, modeling, testing, documenting, versioning, and backing up data.
• Configure and evaluate cloud, network, storage, security, and virtual operations solutions using AWS, Azure, Cisco, VPNs, LAN switching, and VLANs.
• Coordinate requirements, data sharing, testing, governance, technical exchanges, and integration activities with Sponsor stakeholders and business partners.
• Provide technical documentation, analytical reports, operational recommendations, troubleshooting, field support, and occasional temporary-duty travel.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph applicable to the customer is required.
• Experience architecting, designing, or implementing mission internet systems and managing AWS and/or Azure networking, security, logging, administration, and provisioning.
• Experience with Android emulation, reverse engineering, mobile application analysis, VPN tunnel configuration, obfuscation, fingerprinting, signature analysis, and deconfliction.
• Experience with accreditation, A&A, security controls, systems hardening, Cisco router configuration, LAN switching, and VLAN tagging.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, transferring, and managing sensitive data; developing data requirements, ETL solutions, databases, technical documentation, task plans, and operational reports.
• Experience with image analysis and processing in Photoshop or similar tools, troubleshooting data issues, testing applications and systems, and working independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Sponsor’s technical collection.
• Proficiency with the Sponsor’s classified datasets, data collection tools, and repository tools.
