What you will do

• Design and implement cybersecurity architecture and engineering requirements for secure cloud systems and applications.
• Lead cloud security architecture, security engineering, systems engineering, development, and implementation efforts.
• Translate FedRAMP and RMF requirements into architecture and engineering decisions for a large-scale federal environment.
• Support Federal Assessment & Authorization and Authority to Operate activities throughout the system lifecycle.
• Partner with program, engineering, and compliance teams on continuous monitoring and risk management.
• Document architecture decisions, control implementations, and system security artifacts for authorization packages.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of information security experience, including 5 years in cybersecurity and cloud security at a large government agency comparable to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, information security, or a related field.
• Expertise with FedRAMP/RMF authorization, Federal A&A, and ATO activities.
• Expertise in cloud security architecture, security engineering, systems engineering, and implementation.
• Experience with compliance and regulatory standards including NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, CIS Controls, and HIPAA.
• Certification in at least one of IAT Level III, IAM Level III, or IASAE Level III.

Nice to have

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification.
• CISSP certification.
• Cloud provider security certification such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Experience in a FedRAMP High or DoD Cloud Computing SRG-aligned environment.
