Vice President, Product Strategy & Market Insights (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role in Fort Mill/Charlotte, United States

Base salary: $135,960–$226,600 per year

What you will do

• Build and operate a recurring market intelligence capability covering wealth management and advisor technology.
• Produce competitive landscape assessments, capability deep-dives, benchmark analyses, and executive-level market briefings.
• Evaluate market developments, competitive positioning, emerging technologies, and advisor experience innovations.
• Translate insights into product roadmap priorities, investment decisions, build-versus-buy recommendations, and differentiation strategies.
• Establish repeatable research methodologies, information sources, and analytical frameworks.
• Partner with product, strategy, technical, and go-to-market stakeholders on planning and strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, strategy, technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, management consulting, market research, strategic insights, or a related discipline.
• Experience synthesizing large volumes of information into concise business recommendations.
• Experience evaluating product, platform, and technology capabilities for strategic analysis.
• Experience partnering with product and technical subject-matter experts on positioning and differentiation.

• Experience influencing product roadmaps, investments, or strategic decisions through analysis.
• Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experience managing research sources and information repositories.
• Background in wealth management, brokerage, banking, fintech, or another highly regulated industry.
