Finance Analytics & Automation (FA&A) Developer

Location: On-site at least four days per week from a hirify.global Center location in Maplewood, Minnesota; Austin, Texas; or London, Ontario. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel. Relocation assistance is not authorized.

Salary: $95,591–$116,834 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake database objects, views, and SQL-based transformations for finance analytics and reporting.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and backend data logic.
• Support Power BI semantic models for scalable, high-performing reporting solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple systems to improve accuracy, quality, consistency, and visibility.
• Investigate reporting issues, support user tickets, monitor data processes, and implement fixes.
• Partner with Controllers, Treasury, Accounts Receivable, FP&A, Manufacturing, Data Intelligence, IT, and global stakeholders to improve reporting and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of experience in IT, data analytics, reporting and analytics, finance, accounting, or FP&A.
• At least one year of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries for analytics and reporting.
• Experience with Snowflake, including database architecture, roles, security concepts, views, and other database objects.
• Experience building or supporting Power BI data or semantic models.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub or similar version control tools.
• Finance analytics, reporting, or automation experience, including Finance RTR datasets and source systems.
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams and Scrum methodology.
• OneStream experience.
