RF/Microwave Intern (Jan-May 2027)

Salary: $51,621–$81,595 annually; an annual or quarterly bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Design and simulate RF/microwave components, circuits, and test circuits using established design and layout processes.
• Develop test procedures, test stations, and data reduction software with interns, test engineers, and engineering technicians.
• Perform simulations with tolerance analysis and correlate expected performance with test results.
• Review designs before release and prepare presentations for gated design reviews.
• Analyze and clearly present test data while supporting the Material Review Board process.
• Evaluate manufacturing approaches, limitations, and product test requirements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or PhD program in electrical engineering or computer science.
• Strong physics and mathematics coursework; electromagnetics coursework is preferred.
• Basic knowledge and strong interest in microwave theory.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD, HFSS, and circuit simulation and modeling tools.
• Experience or strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and MATLAB, together with strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
• Must comply with US export control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

• 3D modeling experience.
