Maintenance Mechanic

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, equipment installations, adjustments, and component replacements for terminal operations.
• Service pumps, motors, controls, valves, seals, and related mechanical equipment in the maintenance shop and field.
• Complete shaft alignments using dial indicators or electronic laser alignment systems.
• Perform predictive maintenance, including greasing valve motors and related equipment.
• Complete job, startup, and service documentation while communicating with operations, maintenance, management, vendors, and contractors.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean, organized work areas across the shop, warehouse, worksite, and service vehicle.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant maintenance experience, including installation, maintenance, and repair of terminal equipment.
• Ability to read ladder diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Current valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft applications and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and perform physical labor in varying climatic conditions; availability for call-outs, nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.

Nice to have

• Technician school degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with construction contractors.
• Basic knowledge of cathodic protection.
