Research & Development Co-Op (Fall 2027)

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 per hour; full-time, 40 hours per week

What you will do

• Develop and improve automated tools using Python and scripting technologies.
• Assist with project management, process development, and engineering data analysis.
• Contribute to product licensing and generation systems used across Qualitrol technologies.
• Evaluate sensing technologies and support product development initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to solve technical challenges.
• Research emerging technologies and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Expected graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Interest in engineering, product development, automation, or applied research.
• Experience with or interest in Python programming and automation.
• Familiarity with data analysis, scripting, or engineering design projects.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with databases, software development, research labs, or product development projects.
• Leadership demonstrated through internships, research, student organizations, design teams, or extracurricular activities.
