Application Support / Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Oracle PL/SQL)

What you will do

• Provide application and production support for business-critical systems.
• Troubleshoot application incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and complex queries.
• Analyze issues across applications, databases, interfaces, batch processes, and integrations.
• Perform application maintenance, bug fixes, testing, production implementations, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong experience in application and production support.
• Hands-on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming experience.
• Experience maintaining stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues, conducting incident and root-cause analysis, and resolving problems.
• Good understanding of relational databases and application/database integrations.
• Intermediate English level or higher for professional communication.

Nice to have

• Borland Delphi/Pascal, Visual Basic, Linux, shell scripting, Oracle Database Administration, or .NET experience.
• Experience supporting legacy applications.
• Knowledge of Mexican customs, import/export, or related business processes.
