What you will do
- Build and evolve reliable, scalable applications across front-end and back-end systems.
- Design technical solutions and program specifications aligned with business needs, architecture, performance, and maintainability.
- Develop, debug, and test software while improving code quality, system reliability, and performance.
- Partner with engineering and business teams to influence solution design and delivery planning.
- Apply secure coding practices, including Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance and data protection requirements.
- Guide peers, share knowledge, and strengthen engineering standards across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong coding, system design, and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages, including Java, Python, or .NET.
- Experience with APIs, external services, distributed-system integrations, relational databases, NoSQL databases, data design, and query languages.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems, design effective solutions, and make sound engineering decisions.
- Collaborative experience working across teams and improving engineering practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale or enterprise systems requiring high availability, security, and performance.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD, containerization, or microservices architecture.
- Experience in regulated or payment-related environments.
