Video Producer (AI)

Location: New York Office; in-person five days a week at the Flatiron office when not traveling.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own video production end to end, including pre-production, shooting, editing, and quality control.
• Produce studio and podcast content, customer testimonials, conference and event videos, recruiting and brand films, and product and launch videos.
• Scope shoots, create shot lists, operate cameras, and manage lighting and audio, including multi-camera interviews.
• Manage agencies and freelancers from briefing and budgeting through on-set direction and final delivery.
• Build a repeatable video playbook covering formats, studio workflows, production partners, and content pipelines.
• Develop platform-native cuts and use AI for scripting, transcript-driven assembly, and generative assets.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience producing and editing video, ideally for an in-house brand or creative team or a production company serving brand clients.
• Strong command of Premiere or Resolve and enough After Effects or equivalent experience for light motion work.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating both filming and editing.
• Practical expertise with cameras, lighting, audio, pre-production, directing, and editorial judgment.
• Experience scoping, briefing, budgeting, and directing agencies and freelancers.
• Ability to work in person five days a week in the Flatiron office when not traveling.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing and running a studio, podcast, or production setup on a reliable schedule.
• Customer testimonial or case study production, especially on location.
• Conference or live event production and motion design experience.
• Business-to-business video experience and familiarity with the accounting profession.
