Supplier Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; travel required up to 25% of the time

What you will do

• Support supplier development initiatives focused on process optimization, yield improvement, capacity expansion, and manufacturing excellence.
• Collaborate with suppliers and New Product Introduction teams on specifications, design for manufacturability, and supplier qualification.
• Analyze supplier performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, cost, and reliability.
• Participate in supplier capability assessments, process audits, production readiness reviews, and scale-up activities.
• Investigate manufacturing and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and supplier stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Data analysis skills using Tableau, SQL, Python, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of supplier engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing processes, or structured problem-solving methods.
• Entry-level role for a new college graduate; no supervisory responsibilities.
