Manager, Software Engineering Product Manager (NF) - Post-Issue Optimization

Location: Hybrid schedule in Columbus, Ohio, with office attendance on Mondays and Tuesdays; remote internal associates may also be considered.

Salary: $118,000–$222,000 annually; expected starting range: $118,000–$178,000.

What you will do

• Set and communicate the product and technology vision for the Post-Issue Optimization program.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across product, engineering, architecture, operations, and AI-DLC teams.
• Translate AI capabilities into practical solutions that simplify post-issue servicing and reduce manual effort.
• Establish delivery cadence, decision-making frameworks, accountability, and risk management practices.
• Partner with senior leaders on investment decisions, roadmaps, tradeoffs, and measurable business outcomes.
• Recruit, coach, and develop technology professionals while promoting innovation and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Six years of experience in application suite management, including four or more years leading multiple teams across multiple technologies.
• Experience building, delivering, or scaling AI-enabled products and capabilities.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, modern engineering practices, application security, delivery, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to develop roadmaps, make decisions, solve problems, manage risks, and build engaged teams.
• Ability to lead a team of five or more technology professionals and collaborate across Retirement, Life, and Annuity business units.
• Undergraduate studies in management information systems, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or comparable experience and education preferred.
