AI Product Manager

Location: New York City office; in-person attendance required five days a week

Base salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain product roadmaps aligned with customer needs, market trends, and company priorities.
• Conduct customer research and use data and feedback to identify product problems worth solving.
• Write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, integration requirements, and testing plans.
• Own features from discovery and scoping through delivery, launch, and iteration.
• Make technical tradeoffs and prioritization decisions with engineering.
• Identify product friction and edge cases, particularly in payroll and compliance workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of end-to-end product management experience.
• Deep familiarity with AI/LLM-powered product features.
• Ability to participate in detailed technical discussions with engineers.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Experience with product tools such as Jira, Linear, Figma, Notion, or similar.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with payments, subscriptions, or other go-to-market commerce enablers.
• Experience in payroll, HR technology, fintech, or another regulated and correctness-critical domain.
