Quality Technician, Receiving & Inspection (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Round Lake, Illinois, United States; onsite work in Non-Cephalosporin, Cephalosporin, and Penicillin facilities as needed

Salary: $44,800–$67,200 annually

What you will do

• Sample and inspect active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, printed inserts, labels, cartons, and other packaging materials.
• Review documentation against material specifications and release acceptable materials for production.
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment to perform quality checks.
• Enter material data in GME and Labvantage and package samples for external testing laboratories.
• Complete required cleaning in the Non-Cephalosporin clean room and support operations across designated facilities.
• Work flexible hours and overtime when needed to meet the production schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Understanding of cGMP and GDP procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, computer, and software skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, make independent decisions based on procedures and regulations, and work with minimal direct supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet the stated vision requirement of 20/30 in at least one eye with or without corrective lenses.
• Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin drugs and must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
