Senior Software Engineer (PAM)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Annual base salary: CAD 136,000–187,000

What you will do

• Build secure, enterprise-grade Privileged Access Management products using AI pair-programmers and large language models.
• Design, develop, and deliver cloud infrastructure projects on AWS using Kubernetes/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Redis, OpenSearch, Docker, and Terraform.
• Evaluate, develop, and roll out microservices while scaling shared services and frameworks.
• Lead system and code reviews, ensuring scalable, redundant, multi-tenant architectures and strong testing standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade owned services and frameworks.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, product, security, and operations engineers while mentoring junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with Go, Java, or C++, especially in backend services; Go is preferred.
• Hands-on experience architecting, deploying, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS container environments.
• Experience with AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Kinesis, Kafka, Docker, infrastructure as code, observability, secrets management, CI/CD, secure coding, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, data structures, algorithms, network security, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with Agile software development and established software engineering practices.
