QA Engineer (Financial Markets)

Location: Hybrid work from the Krakow or Hyderabad office, with flexibility to work from home. Occasional travel may be required, and working hours may support EMEA, USA, and APAC jurisdictions.

What you will do

• Ensure the quality of financial and enterprise product features.
• Test new product features within an agile software development lifecycle.
• Perform functional testing of market data, order entry, and trading applications.
• Use Python, shell scripting, and an in-house automation framework to automate tests.
• Validate product accuracy, performance, functionality, stress resilience, and use cases.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of test engineering experience, preferably with enterprise products based on Linux and scripting languages.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Comfortable working with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Programming experience with Python and Bash or other shell scripting languages.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and interest in financial markets, electronic trading, software testing, and test methodologies.

Nice to have

• Functional understanding of cloud environments.
• Experience with C or Java programming.
