Materials Planner

What you will do

• Purchase materials and manage order fulfillment to support business demand, inventory turns, and supplier delivery performance.
• Track purchase order backlogs, shipping details, delivery updates, reporting, and supplier communications.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive improvements in delivery accountability, systems, and processes.
• Coordinate with warehouses, logistics teams, and transportation carriers to ensure timely receipt and delivery.
• Manage non-conforming inventory, product disposition, inventory aging, stock rotation, and liquidations.
• Communicate order status and problem resolution to sales and customer operations while supporting supplier management initiatives.

Requirements

• Typically 3+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience providing comparable knowledge and job skills.
• Thorough knowledge of principles, theories, practices, techniques, and standards in the relevant discipline.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, analyze situations, and develop solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with management, internal teams, suppliers, warehouses, logistics providers, and transportation carriers.
