R&D Team Lead Medical Service Delivery (Finance)

Location: Bogotá, Colombia; hybrid work with up to 50% remote work

What you will do

• Lead financial controlling for a €1B Medical budget portfolio covering Specialty Care and General Medicines, including approximately €200M in clinical study investments.
• Oversee month-end closing, accruals, journal entries, variance analysis, reporting, P&L integrity, and cost allocations.
• Coordinate forecasting, budget planning, headcount planning, and C1 submissions.
• Lead, coach, and develop Medical Controllers working across global hubs.
• Partner with Medical leadership, Finance Business Partners, Global Medical teams, and operational stakeholders.
• Improve, simplify, standardize, and automate controlling processes while ensuring service delivery and financial governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, finance business partnering, or related roles.
• Previous experience leading teams in a matrix or global environment.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, month-end closing, financial reporting, financial modeling, internal controls, and audits.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools, plus the ability to manage process improvement initiatives.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
