Finance Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Colombia; hybrid work with the option to work remotely. Relocation support to Colombia is available for the employee and family.

What you will do

• Perform daily and intraday reconciliations of transactions and cash flows.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks, identify root causes, and resolve discrepancies, including non-standard manual adjustments.
• Prepare reconciliation data for accounting and support month-end closing activities.
• Build, improve, and automate reconciliation processes to reduce manual work.
• Analyze data from multiple systems and collaborate with Accounting, Product teams, and external financial partners.
• Ensure reconciliation activities are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.

Requirements

• Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with large data volumes.
• Strong SQL skills for database work, data extraction, and transaction-flow analysis.
• Hands-on Python skills for data processing, analysis, and automation.
• Experience working with multiple data sources and basic ETL principles.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliation records.
• B2 or higher English for communication with an international team.
