Focus on preparing patients and exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, assisting with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, specimen collection, and maintaining safe clinic operations.

Location: 636 Raymond Dr., Naperville, Illinois, United States; onsite, full-time day shift

Salary: $19.13–$25.83 per hour

What you will do

  • Support physicians, nurses, and other licensed medical staff with patient flow and clinical activities.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, obtain and document vital signs, update medical information, and communicate significant changes to providers.
  • Assist with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, specimen collection, procedure trays, and CLIA-waived testing.
  • Prepare, disinfect, sterilize, and stock exam rooms, equipment, instruments, vaccines, medications, and supplies.
  • Promote patient satisfaction through professional communication and protect patient confidentiality.
  • Perform specialty-specific procedures and other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current certification as a medical assistant, or written proof of eligibility for an approved certification examination; certification must be completed within six months of employment.
  • American Heart Association-accredited Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
  • Zero to two years of relevant experience and strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Naperville, Illinois, on the day shift.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.

Nice to have

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
  • One to two years of ambulatory care experience.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
