Service Delivery Manager (Healthcare Operations)

Location: Hybrid in New York; must live within a 1-hour driving distance of New York City and travel frequently within New York City.

Salary: $72,000–$84,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own service delivery performance across assigned sites, including SLAs, quality, cost, throughput, and operational efficiency.
• Lead Supervisors and frontline teams delivering compliant release-of-information services.
• Manage staffing plans, schedules, productivity, skills matrices, and work assignment optimization with Workforce Planning.
• Analyze TAT, OTD, quality, and productivity metrics to identify gaps and implement action plans.
• Coordinate with the NOC and regional leadership to resolve aging work, exceptions, workflow disruptions, and operational escalations.
• Coach people leaders, support onboarding and training, and contribute to continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience managing teams in healthcare operations, health information management, or a large-scale production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop people leaders.
• Experience using metrics, dashboards, and operational KPIs for decision-making.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and regulated workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must live within a 1-hour driving distance of New York City and be able to travel frequently within New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience with release-of-information workflows or EMR systems.
• Experience leading multi-site teams.
• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
