Physical Therapist

Location: Evanston, Illinois, United States; onsite outpatient clinic. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with two evenings until 7:00 PM.

Salary: USD 41.50–56.03 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy for orthopedic and general musculoskeletal conditions.
• Manage patient care from initial evaluation through discharge, including re-evaluations and treatment-plan adjustments.
• Select appropriate evaluations, treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols while maintaining patient safety and functional progress.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and collaborate with physical therapist assistants, physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in committees, process improvement, clinical education, student programs, and departmental projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Illinois Physical Therapist license required.
• Experience treating orthopedic and general musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including two evenings until 7:00 PM.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience with vestibular rehabilitation.
• Experience with the McKenzie Method.
