TL;DR
QA Automation Lead (Java/Selenium): Leading quality assurance for a large-scale Healthcare eCommerce platform with an accent on hands-on automation, test strategy, and technical leadership across manual and automated QA. is building a large-scale Healthcare eCommerce platform.
What you will do
- Lead and coordinate Manual QA and QA Automation Engineers.
- Define and improve QA strategy, processes, standards, testing priorities, and risk-based coverage.
- Design, review, maintain, and improve automated UI, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end tests.
- Remain hands-on with Java and Selenium WebDriver while contributing to Playwright and TypeScript initiatives.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve coverage, reliability, maintainability, and execution time.
- Mentor QA engineers, support defect resolution, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional QA experience with strong test automation expertise.
- Previous experience as a QA Lead, Test Lead, Senior QA Engineer with leadership responsibilities, or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, automation frameworks, API testing, and manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Experience with UI, regression, integration, end-to-end testing, Git, CI/CD workflows, and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience mentoring, coordinating, or providing technical guidance to QA professionals.
- Excellent written and spoken English; remote work must be performed from Europe or South America.
Nice to have
- Experience with Playwright, TypeScript, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Experience with AI coding and testing tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Experience with SQL, database testing, cloud-based applications, QA metrics, dashboards, or quality KPIs.
- Experience with distributed engineering teams or large-scale eCommerce, healthcare, and other business-critical platforms.
