Lead QC Engineer (Java)

hirify.global is hiring for a software testing and quality control role supporting information systems used in competition processes.

What you will do

• Define and maintain QA procedures, test strategies, test plans, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Lead test automation, testing campaigns, quality assessments, audits, and reporting.
• Analyze defects, quality metrics, and risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Apply risk-based testing and promote ISO 9001, CMMI, and similar quality practices.
• Communicate quality status, risks, and recommendations to technical and management stakeholders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software testing experience, including 8+ years of test automation development.
• Strong Java automation experience with RestAssured, TestNG, JUnit, Log4j, Selenium, and reporting tools such as ExtentReports, Allure, or ReportPortal.
• Experience with Gherkin, Cucumber, TypeScript, JavaScript, Mocha, Postman, Jira, and test management and defect tracking tools.
• Knowledge of MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, relational database test data management, and information systems lifecycles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, performance and load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools, and risk-based testing.
• English at B2 level or higher and mandatory ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification.

Nice to have

• French language skills.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or ITIL Foundation 4 certification.
• Experience implementing or auditing ISO 9001, CMMI, or similar quality standards.
• Knowledge of IT systems testing related to investigative market competition policies and customizable multi-user application questionnaires.
