QA Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Create and execute test plans covering software functionality and performance.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform manual, functional, regression, and system testing, including usability and edge-case validation.
• Identify and report defects while generating testing reports and insights.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, product, platform, and design teams to ensure broad test coverage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA automation experience.
• Strong understanding of Angular or React web applications and related tools.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional environments.
• Ability to work in a hybrid or onsite setup in Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools such as Locust, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with DevOps, containerization, and CI/CD environments.
