CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Huntley, Illinois, United States; onsite evening shift

Salary: USD 38.06–51.38 per hour

What you will do

• Screen, prepare, position, monitor, and care for patients throughout CT imaging procedures.
• Operate CT equipment, follow approved protocols, and produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast, establish IV access, screen for contraindications, and provide post-exam instructions.
• Review images, validate protocols and reconstructions, transfer complete studies to PACS, and correct issues affecting diagnostic adequacy.
• Prepare for and assist physicians with CT procedures, including interventional procedures.
• Perform equipment quality assurance, maintain logs, document examinations, coordinate exam flow, and keep the imaging area ready.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) accreditation required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to follow radiation safety, infection prevention, patient identification, and other diagnostic imaging standards.
• Strong patient communication, documentation, and technical judgment skills.

Nice to have

• One year of experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed Tomography (CT) certification.
