Senior Manufacturing Engineer (MedTech)

What you will do

• Lead moderately to highly complex manufacturing engineering projects for surgical vision products.
• Own technical investigations and problem solving for recurring, cross-functional, and high-risk manufacturing issues.
• Develop project charters, schedules, financial estimates, technical justifications, and capital requests.
• Design and implement characterization, design-of-experiments, qualification, and process validation strategies.
• Serve as a process or equipment subject matter expert during audits, reviews, transfers, and technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers and technicians and provide technical direction without formal supervisory authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline with typically at least four years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with two years of experience, or a recent PhD.
• Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, R&D, or process development within medical devices or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
• Experience with project leadership, process validation, statistical analysis, risk management, Lean/Six Sigma, technical writing, and stakeholder influence.
• Ability to work in accordance with quality systems, current Good Manufacturing Practices, safety and environmental standards, and change-control requirements.
