Engineer II (Medical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide technical engineering support to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Improve manufacturing processes using analytical tools, statistical techniques, Design of Experiments, DMAIC, and other problem-solving methods.
• Support customer complaint evaluations, NCR investigations, CAPA actions, change controls, and process or product improvement projects.
• Implement new product introductions, product design modifications, manufacturing improvements, and value improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain process and product validations, re-validations, validation maintenance programs, protocols, and reports.
• Coordinate local and divisional engineering projects, update operating procedures, and provide technical training to manufacturing personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, process analysis, problem-solving, statistical techniques, and Six Sigma quality concepts.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and OSHA requirements.
• Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency in speaking and writing is required.
• Ability to coordinate contractors, direct technician activities, communicate with local and divisional groups, and travel occasionally.
