Location: Chula Vista, California, United States; onsite work in hotel, convention-center, event venue, and warehouse environments

Salary: $23.23–$23.24 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and break down basic audiovisual systems for events.
• Meet with guests onsite, monitor events, and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Troubleshoot audiovisual equipment and software issues and resolve changes promptly.
• Coordinate equipment requirements with staff and external vendors using equipment sheets.
• Complete system entries, paperwork, order entries, and client invoices accurately.
• Support revenue growth through floor-based upselling techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to complete all required training and certifications within one year for external applicants.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet the listed physical requirements, including standing, walking, reaching, and handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required when operating company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Availability for irregular hours, on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Work takes place in hotel, convention-center, event venue, and warehouse environments, including exposure to heights, ladders, lifts, outdoor temperatures, dirt, sand, dust, and varying noise levels.

Nice to have

• One year of customer service or hospitality experience.
• One year of audiovisual experience or equivalent educational experience.
• Associate’s degree.
