Director Operations Support (Healthcare)

Location: Remote Flex - North Carolina, United States; virtual work with a few in-office visits each year. The role's remote or hybrid-flex arrangement depends on the nature of the work and distance from the Durham headquarters.

Salary: $157,978-$252,765 per year, plus annual incentive bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead multifunctional teams responsible for operational initiatives, process optimization, quality, training, and production support.
• Set priorities, establish goals, make group-level decisions, and coach subject matter experts and analysts.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, variance analysis, business cases, ROI analysis, and project delivery.
• Oversee system enhancements, application administration, configuration, product implementation, and software vendor management.
• Lead process improvement, root cause analysis, workflow optimization, system simplification, and process re-engineering, including workforce planning for call center operations.
• Direct quality programs, audit support, policy and procedure development, and the Clinical Cod Reporting Team's corporate, divisional, and departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Alternatively, 12 years of experience managing a multifunctional operational area or in IS application/software development.
• Experience with operations management, application management, process improvement, program management, and project management.
• Ability to lead teams, manage business applications, oversee system configuration, and support enterprise initiatives.
• Ability to work remotely with occasional in-office visits in the North Carolina/Durham area.

Nice to have

• 7 years of leadership experience.
• 10 years of experience managing a multifunctional operational area or in IS application/software development.
