Technician III, Utilities Maintenance

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $63,200–$100,900 per year, with potential annual bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

• Inspect utility systems and identify potential issues.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to improve system performance and lifespan.
• Troubleshoot complex utility equipment problems and provide technical expertise.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and vendor activities with other departments.
• Monitor system performance, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
• Maintain work orders, equipment histories, inventory records, and train junior technicians on technical and safety practices.

Requirements

• Associate degree or certificate in a science or technical field, or completion of a technical trade school.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of utility systems and equipment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Ability to work onsite in Norwood, Massachusetts.
