Engineering Intern (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Company

Develops fluid and gas management products, flexible hose systems, and quality programs for aerospace and other demanding industrial applications.

What you will do

• Develop a standardized template and create operator-friendly visual work instructions for aerospace production equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on product configuration, new product development, product design, manufacturing, and test engineering tasks.
• Use measurement techniques, data collection, analysis, calculations, and computational tools to develop engineering solutions.
• Support manufacturing and test processes, equipment, tooling, operator safety, procedures, and work instructions.
• Review engineering calculations, design models, drawings, and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a four-year technical degree program; an academic transcript is required with the application.
• Junior, senior, or graduate student in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science.
• Strong academic performance, analytical modeling, mathematical theory, and Material Science knowledge.
• Ability to validate mathematical models with actual test results.
• Strong programming and Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Self-starter who is coachable, dependable, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
