Senior IT Product Manager

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; flex employees are expected to work in the office at least three days per week.

Salary: $112,200–$202,600 annual base pay, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of an application family, from strategic planning and requirements definition through tactical execution and launch.
• Develop product strategies, roadmaps, priorities, and measurable outcomes in partnership with business unit stakeholders.
• Lead ideation, technical development, and product launches.
• Manage a suite of 3–5 stable, mature products or applications per year.
• Coordinate solutions across systems, application portfolios, technology products, and critical business capabilities.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while influencing stakeholders and driving trade-off decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of Information Technology experience, or 11 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Experience managing the full product lifecycle, including product strategy, roadmap development, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience managing application portfolios and technology products supporting critical business capabilities.
• Experience with cloud computing, including SaaS or PaaS.
• Experience with DevOps, continuous deployment or continuous integration processes and tools, including Bamboo, Jenkins, RallyDev, or Jira.
• Experience with integration technologies and enterprise integration patterns, including MuleSoft, APIs, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with iterative, agile, or Scrum development, product-specific application architecture, solution architecture, and program or project management.
• Application domain knowledge; ability to connect solutions across systems; ability to influence, prioritize, make trade-off decisions, adapt to change, think creatively, solve problems analytically, and collaborate effectively.
• Leadership experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA, and Operations teams.
• Experience with program and project management, resource planning, delivery governance, product KPIs, operational metrics, and business value realization.
• Experience managing product portfolios, roadmaps, strategic technology initiatives, budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investment decisions.
• Experience leading digital transformation, cloud modernization, application rationalization, organizational change, technology adoption, and talent development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration strategies.
• Experience with AI and Generative AI technologies, including evaluating and implementing AI-enabled capabilities in products and business processes.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with executive leadership, plus the ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams around business outcomes.
