What you will do
- Study braid wire and advance braid design theory.
- Revise engineering calculations to improve hose performance prediction.
- Develop mathematical theories and validate them with actual test results.
- Work cross-functionally through mentorship and technical advisement.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a four-year technical degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science.
- Graduate student, senior, or junior standing.
- Strong academic and analytical modeling skills.
- Strong programming, Excel, or Google Sheets skills.
- Strong knowledge of material science.
- Academic transcript required with the application.
Nice to have
- MATLAB experience.
- Python experience.
- Statistical and data analysis skills.
