Test Technician (Manufacturing)

hirify.global develops and manufactures Low Force Hydraulic machines and related testing equipment.

What you will do

• Assemble and test the full range of Low Force Hydraulic machines.
• Follow standard operating procedures and schematic drawings in a highly technical manufacturing environment.
• Record and analyze test results while maintaining data integrity.
• Work with Operational Engineering to improve existing products and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support internal and external customer requirements through focused and flexible execution.

Requirements

• Level 2 qualifications in Maths, English, and a Science-based subject, or HNC/Level 4 in an engineering-related subject; relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in an electromechanical manufacturing environment and understanding of process improvement, Lean manufacturing, or 5S.
• Familiarity with test and measurement equipment, including DVMs, oscilloscopes, verniers, and micrometers.
• Ability to interpret test results and use computerized test equipment and programs.
• Basic PC literacy, including MS Office and business management systems such as IFS and AGILE.
• Ability to work onsite in the standard factory environment in High Wycombe, including adherence to anti-static procedures and exposure to high-voltage test equipment.

• Experience in project management or inventory management.
• Practical dexterity and a capacity for further development.
