Sr. Data Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, US; at least 3 days per week in the office required

Salary: $118,700–$183,600 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility

What you will do

• Collaborate with product teams, business partners, cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to clarify data requirements.
• Design, document, and present technical components for data products and pipeline solutions.
• Implement code, data transformations, queries, orchestration, automation, and monitoring processes.
• Validate data quality and performance while applying data management, governance, privacy, retention, and security principles.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, user acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and pipeline issue resolution.
• Support client requests, software upgrades, server patches, and security remediation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and documenting data products or pipelines.
• Experience with coding standards, security requirements, unit testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience creating queries, extracting and transforming data, building automation tools, and monitoring data quality.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, present technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
• Ability to work from the Bellevue office at least 3 days per week.
