CT Scan Tech IHR - Casual In-House Registry Variable Shifts (Computed Tomography/Radiology): Providing CT imaging and patient care services in an onsite medical setting with an accent on accurate patient positioning, technical parameter selection, radiation protection, and contrast administration. Focus on assisting with routine and interventional CT procedures, reconstructing CT images, and maintaining patient and imaging safety.
Location: Onsite at 4201 Medical Center Dr., McHenry, Illinois, United States
Salary: USD 52 per hour

What you will do
- Provide computed tomography imaging and patient care services.
- Position patients and accurately select anatomic and technical examination parameters.
- Apply ALARA principles and radiation protection standards during examinations.
- Prepare for and assist physicians with computed tomography procedures, including interventional procedures.
- Perform CT image reconstruction.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- ARRT Computed Tomography certification required within one year of hire.
- Current CPR-Basic Life Support certification.
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency licensure.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and apply push/pull force up to 50 pounds.
