Senior Estimator (Monthly Travel to U.S.)

Location: Remote in Canada, with monthly travel to the U.S.; positions associated with Toronto, ON and Vancouver, BC

What you will do

• Develop estimate plans and coordinate estimate development with project teams.
• Lead the development of total project estimates.
• Prepare project Bases of Estimate and Estimate Risk Analyses.
• Recommend cost contingencies and solutions to complex estimating problems.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for estimating work.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of progressive estimating experience in a construction environment.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
• A degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• RICS, CEP, or CPE chartered status, or progress toward completion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a quality-focused approach.
