Senior Revenue Accountant

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year, depending on compensation tier and location

What you will do

• Own the monthly revenue close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses for revenue, deferred revenue, and contract assets.
• Prepare deferred revenue waterfalls and reporting metrics such as RPO.
• Reconcile consumption data with billing and revenue using SQL queries and AI tools.
• Review customer contracts and order forms under ASC 606, including complex and non-standard deals.
• Support new products, pricing models, SKU launches, and system implementations.
• Support external audits and improve the quote-to-revenue workflow with AR and Billing, Legal, Sales Operations, FP&A, and Data teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on revenue accounting, ideally in a SaaS or consumption-based technology company.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606, contract review, standalone selling price analysis, deferred revenue, RPO, and revenue disclosures.
• Experience with NetSuite, Stripe, and Salesforce, including their integrations and data flows.
• Comfort working with large datasets and using SQL or similar query tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure marketplace billing.
• CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and SOX readiness.
