Vice President - Legal (Crypto)

Location: Hybrid — 3 days per week at hirify.global's New York office

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus

hirify.global is a crypto capital-markets partner providing institutional market making, OTC trading, venture capital, liquidity, market intelligence, and strategic guidance.

What you will do

• Lead and support M&A, venture investments, and other strategic transactions from structuring and diligence through negotiation and closing.
• Advise regulated and investment businesses, including asset management, broker-dealer, and CTA activities.
• Draft and negotiate investment, client, commercial, and corporate agreements.
• Provide advice on U.S. and international securities, financial-services, and digital-asset regulations.
• Lead or coordinate regulatory projects, registrations, exemptions, and work with outside counsel.
• Oversee entity governance, filings, resolutions, NDAs, vendor arrangements, and emerging legal priorities.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Admitted to practice in New York or another U.S. jurisdiction.
• Training at a top-tier law firm and some in-house experience at a financial institution.
• Deal experience in corporate M&A, capital markets, financial services, and/or securities regulation.
• Ability to work across transactional, regulatory, and corporate matters in a fast-paced, flat organization.
• Strong commercial awareness, judgment, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial products, cryptocurrencies, or blockchain.
• Exposure to securities law or asset management, including funds and trading firms.
