AVP, Senior Product Manager - Agentic Workflows (AI)

Location: Remote - USA; regular travel to offices and field locations is required.

What you will do

• Identify workflow challenges and opportunities for AI-enabled automation through direct engagement with business users.
• Translate business needs into product requirements and maintain a prioritized backlog of AI workflow initiatives.
• Design, build, test, and iterate AI workflow prototypes using modern AI tools and development platforms.
• Present solutions, gather user feedback, and refine workflows before production deployment.
• Partner with Engineering, SRE, Information Security, Legal, Procurement, and other teams to transition prototypes into production.
• Define performance metrics, maintain documentation and audit artifacts, and communicate priorities and outcomes to executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of product management experience delivering AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation solutions into production.
• Experience managing the full product lifecycle from discovery and solution design through implementation and adoption.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering teams and translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Strong knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows.
• Regular travel to Walker & Dunlop offices and field locations is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in commercial real estate, mortgage finance, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub or GitLab, Python, JSON, YAML, and Markdown.
