HR Business Partner - Fulfillment Center - Evenings

Location: Houston, TX, United States; onsite at a fulfillment center. The position may require travel and is scheduled for evenings.

What you will do

• Lead the fulfillment center Human Resources department and the team responsible for performance management, employee engagement, and talent development.
• Partner with line managers and employees to resolve employee relations matters and build leadership capabilities.
• Own orientation and onboarding and support training initiatives.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends and recommend improvements to performance, retention, and employee experience.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including local market research and job-level evaluation.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation, safety meetings, accident investigations, policies, procedures, and job descriptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent warehouse experience, education, and training may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in an HR partnership role, ideally in a fulfillment or distribution center or another fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years of experience leading an HR team.
• Demonstrated success building strategic partnerships and improving the HR experience.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and self-initiative skills.
• Strong employee relations experience and the ability to influence different organizational levels.
