Principal Digital Architect - Onboard & Site Data (AI)

Location: Onsite in Irving, Texas, working from the office five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $147,760–$240,110 per year

What you will do

• Define data architecture for Physical AI and autonomous systems operating at scale.
• Develop data contracts connecting machine and site systems with enterprise ingestion platforms.
• Standardize schemas, semantics, timestamps, units, identities, metadata, and data exchange requirements.
• Specify expectations for data quality, completeness, latency, and versioning.
• Design application infrastructure, including databases, programming technologies, utilities, and testing approaches.
• Lead technology evaluations and collaborate with perception architects, data engineering, platform teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Knowledge of data architecture, integration blueprints, enterprise data domains, canonical data models, and data contracts.
• Experience with requirements analysis, target architecture, IT roadmaps, and alignment with business strategies.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning data foundations, including training data, feature engineering, vector data, synthetic data, and AI lifecycle pipelines.
• Knowledge of machine telemetry, sensor data, digital twins, simulation data, edge-to-cloud architectures, and autonomous systems.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture focused on data.
• Strong communication, mentoring, coaching, influencing, and technical leadership skills.
