Mobile Application Developer (React Native)

Location: Full-time onsite employment at the hirify.global Chesapeake, Virginia Store Support Center

Projected salary range: $111,000–$125,000 per year

hirify.global operates a retail business with digital commerce and customer-facing mobile applications.

What you will do

• Design, architect, and build high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Develop pixel-perfect interfaces and integrate native iOS and Android APIs using Swift, Kotlin, and custom bridges.
• Optimize application performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and resolve responsiveness issues.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, complex asynchronous workflows, authentication, loyalty, eCommerce, and enterprise backend systems.
• Manage deployment pipelines and submissions to the Apple App Store and Google Play Console.
• Maintain code quality through documentation, automated testing, code reviews, and collaboration with the mobile product and support teams.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Must work onsite at the Chesapeake, Virginia Store Support Center.
• At least 3 years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, React Native, React Navigation, and modern state management with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
• Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, mobile testing, CI/CD, Git workflows, monitoring, debugging, push notifications, and deep linking.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mobile development, or an equivalent technical field, plus strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating React web applications into mobile environments.
• Familiarity with offline storage and synchronization databases such as SQLite or Realm.
• Knowledge of Oracle Commerce.
• Experience mentoring team members and leading contributors, contractors, or vendors.
