Assistant Controller and Purchasing (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support accounting management across billing, tax forms, reporting, and related financial processes.
• Prepare financial statements, analytical reviews, monthly reconciliations, and audit materials in coordination with the Controller.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, invoices, account reconciliations, and closing processes.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and ERP controls in line with legislation and accounting standards.
• Coordinate weekly and monthly reporting of sales, costs, and projected values across multiple entities.
• Compile sales tax data and assist with budgets, forecasts, and annual company audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial close processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple timelines and work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infor Syteline or a similar ERP system.
