Embedded Software Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe, Madrid, Spain; hybrid work when possible, with on-site facilities and office attendance depending on the working arrangement.

What you will do

• Develop and verify high-integrity embedded software for airborne real-time systems.
• Contribute across the full software life cycle, from requirements and design through coding, verification, documentation, configuration, change management, and target computer implementation.
• Make software design and architecture decisions and lead specific project development activities.
• Develop software for A400M, tanker, and C-295 aircraft programmes.
• Work with Product and Programme Managers, System Engineers, Product Owners, and Validation teams to deliver software products.
• Plan project scope, support quality delivery, and promote innovation and team efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications, IT, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in real-time software, low-level C/C++ and Ada development, and software verification.
• Experience with real-time operating systems, including VxWorks and Linux-RT.
• Knowledge of DO-178B/C software certification standards.
• Experience with HOOD, Rhapsody, GNAT Programming Studio, Eclipse, and TestStand.
• High level of English and Spanish is required.
